Amanda Gibson is a Calgary photographer, specializing in photojournalism and travel photography. I was recommended to her by a friend to help improve the look, functionality and SEO on her online portfolio. I got to design, code, and create the site from scratch: it was nice to work on a site that had photographic elements supplied, and Amanda seems pretty happy with the finished product.

Sagebrook Developments needed a new face for their wonderful custom infill developments, and contracted FP iMarketing to do the job. I had a lot of fun designing this site, and crafting each page to look and work well. Sagebrook was also a pleasure to work with.

FP iMarketing needed a re-branding to keep its website feeling fresh and credible in today's changing media marketplace. I was pleased to design and help in coding the new site, as graphic designer on the FP iMarketing team - and we all think it looks great.

MICA Controls needed a quick turnaround landing page for an upcoming tradeshow, and contacted
FoundPages to do the job. As part of the FoundPages team, I was pleased to design content for this page. The page was designed to mimic the current look and feel of the MICA site, while directing users to the items they would find most useful.
ActiveConversion is a great tool for finding sales leads based on website traffic. They needed a new layout and look to fit the most recent release of their software, and wanted more focused design. I created the layout design to work with the current content, so that we would only need to update templates instead of all content on every page. I designed this while working for
FoundPages, and we're really happy with the way it turned out!

This is the first site I've created as part of the
FoundPages team. Orson Abbott (who the site is about) and I are both really excited about the way it turned out. I was responsible for graphic design, implementation, HTML/CSS programming, and Pagelime CMS integration. I'm also had the privilege of having one of Orson's massages, and highly recommend him to anyone in the Calgary area looking for a good massage therapist. He's kind, professional, and good at his job!

Leschert & Associates is a Stettler accounting firm run by a friend of mine, his dad, and his brother. Their website was outdated and not as functional as they would like it, so Colin asked me to help out. I set them up with Joomla so they could edit the site themselves, modified a stock template, and made their contact more attractive and business-like. We're both really happy with the way it turned out.

United Greenworks came to me and asked for a website. I started by saying 'but of course'. Then came the fun part: installing Joomla, choosing a theme (they get more bang for their buck if they buy a pre-made theme instead of having me design a whole new one), and customizing it - both graphics and content. I was given a bit of content from powerpoint presentations and dictation, and have been working on editing, choosing, and formatting the content to be readable and directed to the target audience. The website is still a work in progress, but it's starting to look good - and I couldn't wait to share it!

The Duecks came to me with their new logo and a website using Dot Net Nuke CMS. They wanted their website to look and feel a lot more professional, with lots more pictures. I mocked up a DNN skin in Photoshop, and after getting the go-ahead had a grand old time slicing and dicing the mockup into an xHTML/CSS Website. I created content, by writing/editing the copy, editing photos, and making suggestions to give the Duecks a great finished product. I'm quite happy with how this turned out - especially since I hadn't done any work with the DNN CMS before.

This is the 'remodel' of my Skate Spots website. I pared down the code and switched over from an all-flash website to a site using HTML, CSS, and selected photos. The site loads a lot faster than it used to, which was one of the main goals of the site redesign. The other goal was to make adding content a lot quicker, which it definitely does!
