Skate Spots (v1)

My husband is an avid skateboarder, and we take photos of every skatepark we visit. I decided to make a website to showcase and rate all of the different parks we'd checked out over the years. This was the first version, done completely in flash. It had a great graphic look, but in the end took too long to maintain and upkeep. Thus, version two!

Butcher Shop

There's a lot of potential for photos at a butcher shop: there's always something happening, and it's not a place you get to see in to every day. These are a few shots of Rena making sausage.

Flames

There are few things more mesmerizing than a camp fire late at night.

Skateboard Baby

This is Cade. He's probably going to be a great skateboarder, considering how early he's getting started! Photographs edited using Photoshop.

Our Town

This is a selection of photos taken of the Town of Sexsmith (Alberta, Canada). Photos have been edited in Photoshop.

Skateboard Mania

Once in awhile I head down to the skatepark and take some photos. Featured skater: Matt Ediger

Water Lilly

This photo is of a water lilly in the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers.

Chautauqua Day

The local fair committee was looking for a T-shirt design to appeal to a variety of ages, from toddlers to older teens. This design features a few elements from iStock photo (rainbow & ferris wheel), as well as elements I created from scratch. The design is fun, but still subtle enough to appeal to an older demographic than your standard kids' t-shirt.

Heather & Dan

Heather and Dan wanted a set of casual photos to feature on wedding invitations. We took a jaunt to Muskoseepi Park on a blustery January morning and had a great time.

Cheer Cards

I designed the front end of this one-page website, as the graphic/web designer of the EventIQ team. EventIQ had a programmer to do the backend PHP work: I wrote layout and graphic creation, HTML, and CSS. This my favorite site design that I created for EventIQ - I really like the organization and flow of this page. It's easy to follow and easy to use.
