The one thing I couldn&#8217;t find was <strong>which font<\/strong> the movies used for the robe numbers.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As it turns out, it&#8217;s Tahoma bold, which is probably already on your computer. Take a look:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"1138\" src=\"https:\/\/boulianne.net\/maker\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/harry-potter-quidditch-font.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1138\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>House quidditch robes for years 3+ feature both the player&#8217;s name on the front and back of their robes, and number on back and left arm.  The number you wear is <a href=\"https:\/\/boulianne.net\/maker\/a-quidditch-costume-reference\/#robenumbers\">based on which position you play on the team<\/a> &#8211; 1 for keeper, 2\/3 for beater, 4\/5\/6 for Chaser, or 7 for seeker. Here&#8217;s how the numbers are placed on the robes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/boulianne.net\/maker\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/quidditch-robes-years-3-and-6-1024x797.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"956\" src=\"https:\/\/boulianne.net\/maker\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/quidditch-robes-years-3-and-6-1024x797.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-956\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is there a template for me to use to make my own quidditch robe numbers?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Why yes, I&#8217;m so glad you asked! I&#8217;ve put together a template that I used myself to get the right font sizes\/letter layout for the back of my Ravenclaw Quidditch robes. Feel free to either print it out as-is or make your own changes to it in Illustrator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/boulianne.net\/maker\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/quidditch-jersey-numbers-template.pdf\" class=\"button\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Quidditch Robe Numbers Template<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/boulianne.net\/maker\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/quidditch-jersey-numbers-template.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/boulianne.net\/maker\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/free-template-harry-potter-quidditch-numbers-1-1024x712.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1142\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>As always, if you use my templates I&#8217;d love to see it in action! post a comment or share a photo below and I&#8217;ll be one amazingly happy camper!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How did you figure out which font they used?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If it&#8217;s a generic-looking font, type out whichever words you have in the sample and run through the fonts already installed on your computer. It&#8217;s amazing how many logos or designs use basic fonts like Arial Black, Times New Roman, or even Tahoma *cough Harry Potter cough*.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"What The Font (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.myfonts.com\/WhatTheFont\/\" target=\"_blank\">What The Font<\/a> to upload an image of your letters. Then you map your characters and it&#8217;ll try to find which font you have. I find it works best if I edit an image to have the letters in black on a white background, ideally with lots of space between each character. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Try <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Identifont (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.identifont.com\/sample.html\" target=\"_blank\">Identifont<\/a>.
