Whisk eggs, sugar, salt, and milk in a large shallow dish
Lightly grease a skillet. Heat over medium-high heat until a drop of water sizzles in the pan
Quickly dip bread into egg mixture to coat both sides, then place in skillet
Cook until sides are golden brown
Repeat with the rest of the toast and batter
Store in a covered dish to keep warm until all toast has been cooked
Serve with butter and syrup, and sprinkle with icing sugar for added gourmet style
