Line a half sheet baking tray with parchment paper. Cover with saltine crackers in a single layer.
Boil sugar and butter for 3 minutes. Spread evenly over crackers.
Bake until the caramel is bubbly all over, then bake for 2 minutes longer.
Take out of the oven and let cool.
Melt chocolate chips in the microwave and spread over the carmelized crackers.
Sprinkle with nuts and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Break into bite-sized pieces.
