ingredients

milk
eggs, lightly beaten
old bread, 1″ cubed
brown sugar
cinnamon
vinegar
salt
raisins

 

instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
  2. Combine milk and eggs. Pour over bread in a large bowl
  3. Add other ingredients. Toss to blend
  4. Pour into an 8×8″ cake pan
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes

This is a memory food from when I was little. Mom would take our old stale bread and make a marvelous dessert from it.
