Whisk all sauce ingredients in a large bowl. Add chicken thighs and toss to coat evenly.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap; marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Remove chicken thighs from marinade and discard remaining marinade.
Grill chicken thighs on a greased preheated grill until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear – about 15 minutes per side or until it reaches 165°f (74°c).
